Bonfire Night fun

Fireworks and Fun on Anglesey this Bonfire Night. The skies over Anglesey will be lit up this coming half term through to the first week in November with bonfires and fireworks galore! Look out for organise displays going on during your stay with us.

Here are a few that we could recommend –

Beaumaris Bonfire Night - Saturday 2th November

Beaumaris Pier and the Menai Strait provide the backdrop for a stunning firework display over the Menai Strait. Beaumaris' very own Brassaholics Jazz Band will be there to entertain you all from 5.30pm. The town Mayor will light the Bonfire for 7 PM, and fireworks are expected to follow at 7.30pm. The event boasts music, a bonfire and fireworks. Money raised from the event goes towards funding next years’ festivities.Tickets cost £5 per person and under 12s go free.

Holyhead Bonfire Night - Tuesday 5th November

The event held at Penrhos Beach is set to begin at 5.30pm. The bonfire lighting will start at 6:15pm before a 7pm kick off with the fireworks. All profits from the event go towards various good causes, so you can do good and have fun doing it. Tickets cost £3 per adult, children go free. It will take place on Penrhos Beach

Amlwch Bonfire Night - Friday 1st November

The event at Madyn Field is an organised display by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service. The NWFR advises anyone wanting to take part in a display to attend an organised event rather than risking their safety by doing their display at home. The event begins at 6.30pm with a Bonfire lighting and moves onto the firework display. Tickets cost £3 adults and under 16 go free.

Caernarfon Bonfire Night - Tuesday 5th November

Hosted at the historic Caernarfon Castle, it provides the perfect backdrop for a fabulous event. The display begins at 7pm, and the best views can be seen from the Promenade. This event is free to attend and is based around Castle Ditch, Caernarfon LL55 2AY. It will be visible across the Strait from Anglesey, where you may avoid the crowds and find a great viewing spot on the banks.
